I can't get any mods to work?

So I just bought Witcher 3 off of steam for 50%.

 

Clocked in hours already then I decided to mod it to further enhance my experience with the game.

 

In comes the problem:

 

So far, I've installed 11 mods, all through Nexus Mod Manager but none of them seems to be working! There's no error with the scripts or whatsoever so googling hasn't been any help at all.

 

Anyone have any idea what's going on? I know the way I described it all may be vague so feel free to ask more questions regarding my problem and thanks in advance!!

I am having trouble with a conflict between friendly HUD and auto loot.

If any one could help me out to fix this issue,because I don't know what I have to do to fix it.

I would really appreciate it.

Same problem, however, only one mod is working while the others are not and I installed them all the same way.

Have you created a Mod Settings file? It's a txt file (with the txt extension removed) placed in your documents\Witcher3 folder which allows you to set a priority to the load order. A quick look at your mod list leads me to think that the Lore Friendly mods needs to be prioritized. In addition, have you used Script Merger to ascertain whether there are any script conflicts that need to be merged?

I figured it out. When I initially installed witcher 3 I forgot to install the HOS DLC I purchased AND the 1.11 patch. The 1.01 - 1.10 patch installed itself but not 1.11.

After the mods wouldn't work I uninstalled witcher 3 and deleted it then re-downloaded/installed it again to start fresh and that's when I discovered the files I forgot.

Hi buxenwolf,

 

The mods I installed are working except for the conflict I'm having, so I disabled the one that causes the conflict.

I don't use the nexus manager, I put the files manually into the folder.

 

I think that you should try one mod at a time and test it if it's working. If one is working activate the next, test it and move to next and so on...

If you can't get even one to work then try to copy the files manually, maybe it helps...

Hopefully you will get it to work.

I actually just installed NMM. NONE of the Witcher 3 mods that I installed/activated seem to be showing up. I am playing W3 on Steam. Is there something other step that I should be doing to enable my mods? According to NMM they are activated. Windows 10.

EDIT: Okay, I am probably missing something with the text file that we are supposed to create...or does Steam put stuff in a different place? Any help very much appreciated, I need it!

Can you please say more RE the Mod Settings File? I think that's where I'm getting jammed up and I'm obviously missing something. Again, I'm playing W3 on Steam.
