Draagushnahk
So I'm trying to mod the NPC health of various npcs, attempting to achieve a more realistic health curve over levelling up. I'm having problems identifying the field used to calculate the NPCs health, or the health formula for NPC's in general, for that matter (I'm fairly certain they gain health per level, but are they spawned at set levels per type, or can you get for example, gangrenous feral ghouls at level 22, 23, or 24, instead of being fixed at one level?) I have information on quite a few NPC health stats from the game guide (it was useful for little else, but soothed my anticipation in the days before release ;) ), which shows humans ranging in health from 30 to 1300! (mainly gunners. Some BoS, raiders and minutemen hit the 500 mark or so), as well as early super mutant health being rather low (only 120. I want terrifying low level mutants damnit!) So does anyone know the records I'd need to edit to change their health? I've noticed though some of the PRPS -Properties/actorvalue/health numbers align with the numbers in the guide, on others they don't, such as high level deathclaws only having 500 health, or some creatures having it set as 0! I've also noticed the 'Health offset' record which seems to vary massively between even creatures of the same type. I noticed the 'calc max level' record seems to be 35, regardless of creature type too, does anyone know the record/s that show what level the creature can spawn at? TroJanViru5
"NPC_" (of your choice) > "ACBS - configuration" > "Health offset"0 = Immortal5 = Very weak (A brahmin)35 = Pretty tough (A deathclaw)999 = Demi-GodHope that helps.
Draagushnahk
Thanks for replying! It helps somewhat, though it still doesn't seem to follow any obvious logic in places, is there a formula the health offset is used for to generate the NPC health? Are there any other stats that have an impact on that?
TroJanViru5
Direct multiple of level. Levels appear at random and I believe, (don't quote me on this), are influenced by current difficulty setting, player level and zones. How these intergers take place is out of my hands for now... Tags that are hidden until we get GECK I assume.
Draagushnahk
Ah, I see. I was hoping the formula would be a carbon copy from previous game like so many other things are. Guess I'll probably have to wait for the GECK then, shame.
