TheMoogleOfLove
I'm using the 1.9 updated version of the 4GBEnabler, along with NVSE. I have no mods installed as I just recently installed the game. I have the Steam version of Fallout NV (Ultimate Edition, though it's basically the same thing) and I have it installed in a drive that isn't my Program Files. For some reason, when I click on the 4GB launcher, it loads up but instead of launching the game like it should be doing, it pulls up the Launcher instead. I have no idea why it's doing that but it's preventing the 4GBEnabler from actually activating properly. Like I said, I have no mods installed atm because it's a clean install, but I'm going to be needing the Enabler if I'm going to start putting in all of my old mods. Any kind of input as to why it's not working properly would be greatly appreciated.
asmcint
Mine pulls up the launcher as well; I simply assumed that this was normal function. If that's not the case, I would also appreciate help on that subject. May also help me fix my ENB issues.
TheMoogleOfLove
Ok, I figured it out. Turns out in the shortcut I created I needed to add an "-exe" extention so it would bypass the Launcher. I did a check to make sure it was working properly and it was. You can close the thread now. doodleproblems
Alternatively, you can use this option to patch your primary New Vegas .exe file to 4GB, which will then work flawlessly with NVSE: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php
