lorenranberg Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 (edited) Im finding that I don't get the 'clicks' when scrolling through items in my pipboy, no vats activation sound or sounds when selecting shots, and NPCs and Player character are muffled (not 100% of the time). The muffled voice issue happens when the dialog camera zooms out and in 1st person, to the Player and NPCs. I don't know what causes it to act normally sometimes and not other times. While I do have sound replacer mods installed I don't have any mods that touch the PipBoy, mess with VATS or voices; NPC or otherwise. I have validated game cache in steam, checked ini's for audio values, etc. If anyone has a fix or suggestion it would be appreciated, thanks! lorenranberg Posted December 7, 2015 Author Share Posted December 7, 2015 Turns out it wasn't anything a mod was doing as I suspected. I checked my speaker configs and just had to reset to my original setup (don't know how it changed, but....). What clued me in was while in first person if an NPC was talking I turned to where they were out of my FOV the sound just cut off, turn back a bit and I could hear them again.
