what this means is, steam is ignoring exsisting Direct-x files found already on the system as the file names match...but..the game uses said files in newer direct-x versions.

thinking out loud here: reading all the posts recently about the beta updates for this game and the Beta patched issues, this seems to be a steam bug.

bug is a harsher word to use but is really not. Verifying game catch only checks the files against file size and names.

where as "direct-x" is not really part of the game, it's what the game needs as a dependency so it's more of a system issue....Direct-x is Microsoft software.

reinstall the game..setup's will ignore all files still intact and only replace bad or missing game files.

is

Currently Also considered "Beta" is windows 10...if you would look at it in this way.

when you install a PC's manufacturers graphics drivers, they, that graphics package installs It's version of Direct-x..and may not match what the game was designed to work with.

case in point. (http://s26.postimg.org/9u922q3k9/case_1.jpg)

that program deals with Pc software, it is supposed to install updates for your PC and not game files...when this type of thing takes place, all files steam installed for the game get replaced. problem comes from file names and dependencies of the system, not the games installed versions.

Even windows updates set up this confusion. thinking out load again, we can deduce where the problem might be?..!! well, it's can be seen here.

Tests conducted so far prove this to be true...blind folded we can only go by what's posted in the complaints seen.

issue seen about tools, software's even NMM installs not working as meant to be? we can also look back here..and use this path to determine what was installed last..what was part of that installed last program that changes how or what is dependent for one program that breaks another.

here is the bad part..."windows 10" auto updates things, and it also deletes things with out telling the user.

So the game packages are supposed to contain all Dependencies it needs when installed, but the installer will only replace files missing...it will NOT replace existing files found...."problem" same name of the files are there, versions are not seen, just the file names.

that screen shot is a paid product, it does in fact install what's considered updated / "Up To Date" files for the Pc's.

The games do not / have not been designed to use...so...the bug shows up in all the weirdest ways possible.

Bug #2 windows 10 deletes unsigned files. users update system files with data not meant for the game but rather meant for their PC's or laptops.

defining this I feel is important and worth it for me to post about it. Verified by both systems file integrity and steam integrity tests.

currently testing other games and networks in windows 10, not just one game or publisher.

these thoughts are now shared.

deliberately done on laptop's as I own many...and 5 PC's of varying power.

the above program installed the wrong drivers the game here can use.

Windows 10 installs a totally different version of the graphics driver packages.

so Thus is a reasoning thought out. easy to test and verify if one wanted too.

Crimson drivers, latest ATI radon does this " Too ". so heads up.
