ssjdeathlord
I'm sorry if there is something explaining how to do this already, but I'm in a rush so I don't really have time to look for it, if you could direct me to that I'd be thankfull. Allright, now that that's out of the way, the problem I'm having is that I have a mod that adds the master sword and a couple other items callled master sword DX, I want to edit their values in the construction set because they are waaaay too high. I know how to get in and edit the item, but once I have changed the values and saved, the .esp stops working, and what I mean is the game acts like I've turned the mod off, when I go to load my game it tells me that "this save relies on data that is no longer present", and once the save is loaded, I no longer have the weapons in my inventory, and they aren't in their spawn location either what am I doing wrong? Sypron
Maybe you turned the mod off instead of on. Did you set the mod as the "Active File" when you loaded it? Did you uncheck it before you started the game? Did you change the file name in any way?
ssjdeathlord
Yes I set the mod as the active file when I loaded it, no I didn't unchech it before starting the game, and no I left the file name the same as it was when I started messing around with it. SickleYield
I've encountered a problem wherein OBMM and the Data screen sometimes disagree about whether a mod is checked or unchecked. Be sure you look at Data Files as well as the OBMM screen before you start to play. Saving changes to a mod also changes load order, but that shouldn't cause the mod to be totally unrecognized.
