sophiextime
Erm help!! my Steam updated my Fallout 4 automatically and now my Nexus Mod manager keeps yturning off all my plugins! every esp and plugin unchecks ( unticks) itself every time i try to load a save prior to the update. I check them all. then load fallout 4 via steam and it always says the save has items it relies on that are no longer there. when i quit FO4 and check NMM all the plugins are all unchecked again??!! why is that happened? its l;ike the update now blocks all MODS/plugins i installed :( and i have lots of nice ones :( i dont wanna play the default game :( help please! xx i have checked my Ini string thingy and its exactly there still as per Gophers advise on his NMM Mod guide help, no different to how it was prior to this friggin update! :( Sophie. digodya
hello Sophie =)Happened to me too. Here's the workaround:Open Nexus Mod Manager. Go to the Plugins tab. You'll notice nothing is checked. Open the Fallout 4 launcher. Click the green checkmark and Yes to quickly re-enable the plugins. Launch the game as normal. Your mods work!enjoy =)
sophiextime
OMG ok i just used my brain and peeked down to a post a few down the list by the Lonewarrior and saw the fix....omg did i panic. ok all fixed. If you read this and havent seen the fix checks his post. Basically you open NMM, check all your plugins using that green tick arrow. then with NMM still open, use your FO4 launcher and open it but before you click PLAY minimise and open up your NMM again and you will find all the plugins unchecked again. re-check them all and then go back and click PLAY for FO4. that will load your game and NMM will from now on keep your plugins checked and saved . :) or just read his thread as its explained easier..hehe Phew!!! sophiextime
damn it its doing it again :( do i have to from now on til like friggin ever have to use that method EVERYTIME i load FO4!!!??? FFS!! it seems everytime i close NMM and if i restart FO4 via steam it ALWAYS unchecks them!. i can get them to work using that posted method but it never remembers if i close FO4 and NMM. So basically Steam have screwed up the game being used via NMM. and i had no friggin choice over the update thats messed it up! :(
