I cannot make one MOD to work for Witcher 3 by Nexus Mod Manager.. I am going crazy here ok help!

My version of the game is 1.06

Mods will not work with any version lower than V-1.08, sorry but you have to update to at least that level. Suggest at a minimum that you update to V-1.11, current Witcher 3 build is V-1.12.1

Ohhh and here I though that the problem was from Nesxus Mod Manager,

So all I have to do is update to the newest version!

Do u know how many GBs are we talking about if I will update it via Origin?

thank you so much

In addition to updating your game you will need to manually create a folder in your main Witcher 3 folder called: Mods

As for Origin , that I do not know since my version is a steam one but the update is not overly large.

Suggest that you look at the FAQ before you install mods, it might save you time waiting for answers.

Good luck

I too am having some major issues getting mods to run on the witcher 3. it is v 1.31, newly downloaded from steam with all of the GOTY dlc bundled. i created the mods folder inside the game main folder, and have pasted several mods into said mod folder. i added in a couple mods for "roach" to test that the game was running them, but when i launch the game, he comes running up perfectly normal every time. i have tried a camel mod, and a unicorn mod. i have created a mods.settings text in the documents folder, and the conflict merger found no conflicts. i feel like everything is as it should be, but the game just isn't running them. please help!

well, i think i do. i installed them into the witcher install folder. do they need to be in the mod folder? i'll also double check that it is the latest version, i just added that one tonight so it should be most recent. i also installed the the GOTY unification patch, as i was sure that that would do it but still no luck. they act like they are trying to work but for some reason they arent working properly. for example, the camel mod shows part of the saddle is changed on the horse, but that is the only evidence that anything has been changed. the horse still looks normal, as well as about half of the saddle. i'll tinker with the modkit tools a bit more and see if that does it but i have little confidence at this point. look forward to more input, thanks!
