Sdesser
1) Extract the files from the game archives to somewhere (not your game installation folder!!), see what file type, file path and name the sound file you want to replace is.2) Place your own sound file that matches the type, name and path into the game files3) Enjoy! In your case, you'd place the files in:\Data\Music\Death\ as xwm files named:mus_death_01.xwmmus_death_02.xwmmus_death_03.xwm The game plays one of the three files at random when the event occurs, so if you want the same sound to always play, just copy the same file three times over. menorton
ok yes, that did work great and I was able to insert my sound clip into the game as a test, The one thing I'm stuck on is that I can't find what I want, which is the Settlers Bell in the Sounds.ba2. The best i can find is a bell from an office desk, but that isnt the same. I even extracted all of the files and then did a search on Bell, and only these church bells and the office bell came up. What is another way to find a sound? In game? Edited December 11, 2015 by menorton
Fl0W
look into "Sound\fx\amb\buoy". I think its on of them amb_buoy_ring_01 - amb_buoy_ring_05
menorton
Nope, the bell has a single ring, those have multiple. Also when I switched them, the bell still had the old sound. edit:I put my cursor on it and then hit tidle, the text that came up was (ff002aff) [PP]. What does this mean? I already looked in Sounds and Voice.ba2, if its a file its not in there. Edited December 12, 2015 by menorton

menorton
You can find them one of two ways: 1. Ask around/Search google2. Convert the files (xwm to wav) yourself and listen to each one. sorry if thats a crap solution, but thats all the community has right now
