josh900
Name: Volhammer Mountain-breaker Gender: Male Age: Late twenties or so Race Human Class: Warrior 2 handed. Specialization, Reaver Appearance: A beast of a man, Volhammer stands at nearly 7 feet of pure muscle and hair. Strong, thick limbs covered with tattoos and scars singing praise of his abilities as a warrior. His face carries the tribalistic roughness that one expects from the Avvar, a long beard and shoulder length brown hair to complete the package. Armor/Clothing: Underneath the layers of fur and skins of multiple different animals, he wears dwarven woven chain as his true means of protection. Weapon(s): A large two handed axe, the handle which had been made of dragon bone, and an Avvar longbow. Accessories: A collection of dragon bones and an assortment of ceremonial items. Personality: Volhammer is a simple Avvar warrior, he drinks, he jokes, he sings, he fights, and sleeps. He is fueled by his never ending quest for glory so that he may go down in history like so many other great heroes. Family/Relationships: Father: Rogrom Sky-Lung, praised as the greatest horn blower that the tribe had ever seen. Background: Born among the Avvar people, Volhammer Ar Rogrom was pushed into the trade of hunting and war due to his size, luckily for him he very quickly grew to love his occupation and the thrill of battle. His was a simple life until the day his tribe's hold beast was consumed by a large dragon that nested nearby. In an act of vengeance, several of the tribe's strongest warriors set out to slay the dragon, and offer it's bone to the Mountain Father in the hopes that their village would once again be protected by the gods. The battle that ensued claimed many lives and left Volhammer on the edge of death, but when the dragon dived off the cliff , Volhammer cried out to the Mountain Father for strength and leaped off of the cliff side after it, landed on it's back, and with a mighty blow of his axe, struck into the dragon's wing, rending it unusable, causing the dragon to collide into the mountainside with Volhammer still clinging to the dragon's scales for dear life. Recently loosened by heavy rainfall, the earth above them tore apart and slide down the mountain, burying both the dragon and Volhammer under the largest landslide in the tribal elder's memory. For four days and five night Volhammer dug his way out from beneath the mud, trees, and rocks that buried him, feasting on the dragon's corpse for nourishment, and in a ritual that many would later be surprised that he had heard of, he drank the dragon's blood and from it, took a power that had not been seen in his tribe for many generations, that of a Reaver. Digging his way out, he returned to his village a champion and was given the Legend-Mark of Mountain-Breaker. Many had hoped that he would remain in the village and lead them to victory over other hostile tribes, but some months later he heard of an ancient order that was fueled by blood just as he was, blood of the Darkspawn, poisonous even to the touch, Volhammer knew that if he were able to harness it's power, then surely his legend would be remembered for all time by all the Avarr people. And so he set down the mountain path to the lands below, in search of this great order of "Grew Wardens" to join their ranks, and become stronger than he ever dared dream before. Members who do not post within three weeks of their last one without mentioning RL issues, etc. will be removed from the RP. Due to this extended period of time between posts, warnings will no longer be issued. See rule 16 on the front page.

AurianaValoria1
Just letting you all know we have someone coming in very soon who will be playing as a Mabari character (not a character with a Mabari, actually RPing as one). This is sort of an experimental thing; we'll see how it goes.
