yerude Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) Hello, there are so many mods, i dont know which i could use/combine for my purpouse or maybe create it on my own (never did). What i realy dislike about Fallout4:- Way to easy, play on highest diffulty and still got bored- Power Armor is way to OP in this game. I am so mad i used it.- Gattling Laser is also way to OP- If you increase the difficulty enemys health will be increased much, but it doesnt become more difficult. It just take more time to kill them. This kills any choice in weapon choosing on max difficulty. You just chose whats the best balance in Dmg/S. High Burst dmg Weapons like a Sniperrifle for example are no big help because they shoot slow.- When i found my first t51 armor very first time in the game i "won the game"... Also if you follow the mainstory the Gattling Laser is available very early in the Ship of the Brotherhood.- Because you can always cancel hacking and lockpicking is very easy + you have some kind of infinite lockpicks, the last two perks are senseless.- leveling is to slow, i am now lvl 50 and i realy realy stretched the mainstory very much. I wanted to do most sidequests before finishing the mainstory but i am walking around being totaly op, dont find any interresting stuff anymore since lvl 25. Exploring Areas is still interresting because the atmosphere is great and the level design always surprises me. But to never find anything special sucks.- Settlements are "nice" but they are realy realy unimportant.- endurance is absolutely useless, the complete perk. I had only 2 points in it and never spend any the whole game. And still the game is easy like s***. Wtf?- I never had any need to use stealth or suprise attacks. What i want to change:- Increase DIFFICULTY not health of enemies. I though about doing it like they did with Halo. In Halo all weapons deal much more dmg. You still can kill your enemies very well, but they also kill you very easily. You can get instakilled by sniperrifles f.e. For Fallout 4 i want to increase all weapon dmg, more critical dmg on headshots, fight more tactical. Make slow weapons more interresting but do not increase the health of enemys so much. So both will die fast. Only exception should be some special enemies like Mirelurk Queen f.e. This still should be a tough fight. I also would like to have these kind of enemies have some kind of immunity to regular weapons. So you could need Rocketlauncher, Fatman or explosives to beat them.- Higher resistances for some enemies. F.e. Ghouls should become completely immune to radiation, immune to physical dmg (except body part dmg). So you can shoot the leg of a ghoul and cripple him, but he should not lose life. This way you would need energy weapons to kill ghouls OR you need to shoot of their head. Same for other Enemies. Like much higher physical dmg reduction for robots, way higher energy dmg reduction for supermutants. Only humans shouldn have any dmg reduction. This would vary the gameplay very much and you need to use different kind of weapons. This way you also spare some ammo depending what kind of enemies you want to beat.- Nerf Power Armor. Decrease its defens values MUCH! To make this power armor still interresting to use, the str increase of it should be hightened a bit. Also the dmg reduction should realy depend on what adjustments you use. So regular power armor shouldnt have "immunity" to radiation without plumb enhancement.- much more XP- to maintain balance i would weaken some perks. I also would make max possible perk for both hack and lockpiking capped on expert (i will explain why later). So you cannot open master locks anymore. Also some perks should be available earlier in the game. To get the perk which helps you lifting more "late" in the game is stupid. Same for some charisma based perks. It is stupid you need so much charisma to increase the abilities of your followers. When i played Fallout4 Vanilla, i didnt need half the perks anymore when i got them. Most perks which are very helpful at the beginning of the game are useless in the endcontent. So level restrictions should be decreased. Maybe there are some good perk mods, maybe i could create an own (with some help ^^)- VERY important one: I want you to have followers depending on max charisma. IF you have more charisma, you can have more followers with you the same time. Every 3 Points in Charisma you should be able to have one more follower. But should be maxed out at 4 followers the same time. Why do i want this? Because with the way i want to increase the difficultie you could use them more tactical. Also you would be able to hack and lockpick master locks by ordering your followers to do so. If you can get oneshotted by sniperrifles if you are unlucky, they will help you tanking and you can order them to stay in the front or snipe from your back. This would also make equiping them more interresting. And you would need to get ammo for all of them.This would also allow to experience the story of more followers the same time. It is sad, i had to chose ONE of them because i realy liked all of them. I would have enjoyed doing more specific followersquests. And if they will help me because i NEED them i would also appreciate them more. Guessing what, i realy FORGOT the name of half my followers... i had caith with me the whole time and after i finished all of her quests i got so bored that i didnt even remembered her name anymore lol. The followers "need" is only to be a packmule in vanilla.- Delete crafting out of the perk(max it at lvl 1). WHAAAT WHY? ARE YOU DUMB? NOOO i am not. Crafting the "perfect" weapon is so easy and early accessable. If you have it once, you will never ever enjoy finding weapons anymore. I want to make the loot you find more enjoyable. So you would need to pickup and collecting items for their mods. You will dissamble them and put the mods on your own weapons. To make this more interresting i would allow to mix mods of different items (except some op ones). It doesnt need to be logical, fallout isnt logical anyway. If i wanted to play a realistic game, i wouldnt play fallout :D Because you will need good weapons for all followers this way collecting items will still be fun.- Make stealth and sneaking more usefull. Stealth Boys should have charges. If this isnt possible to accomplish by a mod, it would be possible to always find a "pack" of stealth boys. For example you always find 10 of it instead of one. - higher densitiy of enemies. In most cases doubling the amount of enemies in a group would be fun. Some not must haves but would increase fun:- Higher need for settlements. This could be accomplished by bigger rewards having settlements. The money you can earn by it should be increased much. But i wouldnt like to have it made by just increasing the money by shops. To make this fit into the setting of fallout, the value of all crops should be increased. You can farm it and sell it and can make lucrative farms this way. In my opinion, the value should be about 5-8 times higher than it is in vanilla.- Max of settlers should be doubled.- If you have more food and more farmers , this should also attract raiders much more. They want to steal your food of course. Raiders and Gunners always need food and guns.- The more settlers you have, the more likely supermutants will attack (they eat humans)- The better your settlers will become equiped, the more likely gunners will attack.- Scavenger stations should actually "do" something. Is there any need for it in this game??? I tested it in one city setting 12 Sations and asigned settlers to it. It didnt change any bit. It is comepletely useles or not working? I dont know if it is bugged. But no matter how it works or works not, instead i would make this to spawn items like: Drugs, weapons, AMMO , scrap. Ammo andscrap maybe most likely, drugs still very likely and weapons more uncommen but still common enough to be able to equip your settlers this way.- because finding new recipes for additional buildings is so difficult and they are so rare, i would like to have a perk for it instead. Because i want to nerf some crafting perks anyway, i would realy enjoy to put this in the lvl system of the crafting perks. This also frustrating to find recipes when i just finished the game. I would have enjoyed it much earlier in the game. How do you like it? Are there maybe some mods i could use it for? Maybe some i could use and change it a little bit.
