UNSCSpartin
Hey all So recently i been trying to import fallout 4 nifs into 3ds max, but I am getting an error that says "String too long. Not a NIF file or supported format?". I am currently using 3D Studio Max 2010 64bit. I never had an issue with this when it comes to models from skyrim. Does nif tools not support Fallout 4? Or do i need an updated version of the 3DSMax 2010 64bit tools? If so i couldnt find any downloads for 3DS max what so ever on the nif tools source forge page. Thanks all

UNSCSpartin
Sorry if this is a bone head question, but how are you exporting from Nifskope? It is refusing to even open the Fallout 4 nifs. Edited December 12, 2015 by UNSCSpartin

TroJanViru5
So you export an .obj, open it up in blender/3ds max, change it as much as you want, export that again as an .obj and import it back into the same file in nifskope?
DDProductions83
Oh I have no bloody clue how to get it back IN to nifscope correctly. I know someone is working on a max plugin so I will patiently await that
