TroJanViru5
I've tried following countless tutorials on importing and exporting .nif but it appears all are outdated or useless for Fallout 4 .nif files.Any guidance would be much appreciated because I am at a total loss. Blender will refuse any and all .nif files and 3ds max just laughs at me.
KazFoxsen
I was able to use Nifskope (2.0 pre-alpha) to turn a nif into a obj, which I imported into Blender 4.9. I only tried this once on a simple sign mesh. I don't know whether the change affects data or not, but at least it got the mesh in. Has anyone figured out how to make a nif that works in the game? I just want to add a poster to the workshop and be able to create my own UV map to fit the image. Edited December 15, 2015 by KazFoxsen
Kingcato
You can currently export a .nif to an .obj with NifSkope. Importing an .obj however is currently not suported.
