XiphoidIllusion
Hey there. I seem to have a problem with Fallout New Vegas where my game keeps freezing after I travel a certain amount of distance. The area that causes the problem is in Camp McCarran Concourse, at the entrance of Camp McCarran Concourse Supply Shack. I find it weird that suddenly the game started to freeze only here, because previous to this, I had no issues what-so-ever. I also use NVAC and FNV4GB Thank you for your time. *My Computer's Specifications - Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit- CPU Intel Core i7 4820K @ 3.70GHz Ivy Bridge-E 22nm Technology- RAM 16.0GB DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)- Motherboard Alienware 0FPV4P (CPU 1)- Graphics DELL P2815Q (1920x1080@60Hz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (NVIDIA) - Storage 2794GB Seagate ST3000DM001-1CH166 (SATA) - Optical Drives PLDS DVD+-RW DH-24AWS *Load Order 0 0 FalloutNV.esm 1 1 DeadMoney.esm 2 2 HonestHearts.esm 3 3 OldWorldBlues.esm 4 4 LonesomeRoad.esm 5 5 GunRunnersArsenal.esm 6 6 ClassicPack.esm 7 7 MercenaryPack.esm 8 8 TribalPack.esm 9 9 CaravanPack.esm10 a YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm11 b New Vegas Redesigned 3.esm12 c Project Nevada - Core.esm13 d oHUD.esm14 e FCOMaster.esm15 f Project Nevada - Equipment.esm16 10 Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp17 11 Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp18 12 NevadaSkies.esm19 13 Project Nevada - Extra Options.esm20 14 Gomorrah Redesigned.esp21 15 Gomorrah Redesigned v2.esp22 16 YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esp23 17 The Mod Configuration Menu.esp24 18 The Weapon Mod Menu.esp25 19 Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp26 1a Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp27 1b Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp28 1c Project Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esp29 1d Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp30 1e Project Nevada - All DLC.esp31 1f Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp32 20 Boacombat2glove.esp33 21 boa ncrpahelmet.esp34 22 MiscItemIconsNV.esp35 23 EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp36 24 New Vegas Redesigned 3.esp37 25 WeaponModsExpanded.esp38 26 WMX-DLCMerged.esp39 27 Project Nevada - Old World Blues (No Cyberware).esp40 28 Realistic_Repair_NV.esp41 29 Project Nevada - WMX.esp42 2a WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp43 2b WMX-POPMerged.esp44 2c Project Nevada - EVE All DLC.esp45 2d IMPACT.esp46 2e majormodder's Junk Food to Barbeque Crisps.esp47 2f Totally Amber Pipboy Light.esp48 30 More Realistic Aiming.esp49 31 Improved Throwing1.esp50 32 FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting - Full.esp51 33 NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition.esp Edited December 14, 2015 by XiphoidIllusion

doodleproblems
I'm not a pro at this by any stretch, but have you checked your load order with LOOT? I believe you're running Project Nevada mods you don't need to, and I don't believe it's possible to run Realistic Wasteland Lighting with Nevada Skies as they're both weather overhaul mods. Also, have you tried making a batched patch or a merged patch and adding it to the end of your loot order?
XiphoidIllusion
Thank you for the reply Doodle. I have checked my load order with Loot. I tried disabling Project Nevada, Realistic Wasteland Lighting, and Nevada Skies, but unfortunately nothing worked. I also tried making a Batched Patch and that didn't help either. Any other suggestions? I was thinking of uploading some log files, perhaps that might help.
doodleproblems
I'm sorry I can't be more of a help, but I'm pretty stumped. It's got to be a mod and not a texture that's causing your issue. I would recommend trying to de-activate esps in groups of three to four and use process of elimination to determine the cause of the problem, though be careful as this may impact your save game. Alternatively you could try a complete reinstall of everything. Sometimes that seems to do the trick.
doodleproblems
If none of the above fix your crashing issue, I would encourage you to look at this. It's a pretty easy to follow guide of how to install a list of recommended mods, how to create a bashed patch, which tools to use, ini tweaks, etc. http://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/FalloutNewVegas
XiphoidIllusion
Alright Doodle, thank you for your help though! I really appreciate, and when I have time I'll attempt to try your suggestions and I'll post a comment whether or not it works. Thanks again! doodleproblems
Just a heads up, the STEP process is most definitely lengthy, and I don't know if I recommend all of it. For example, installing the bodymesh version 3 mods or whatever they're called will exaggerate the neck seam of characters even more, and even if you have your .ini correctly set up. Another mod in that STEP list adds necklaces to all characters to help hide the neck seam, but I find it unrealistic that everyone is wearing a necklace of some kind.
