Proboarder2712
Like I explained earlier, try installing a texture mod manually. Something that you would notice right away. I used Fallout Texture Overhaul Stars by Gorgulla. I was able to load up my game, look up and tell if the mod was installed. If they install manually then there is something wrong with NMM(if all your other settings are right). If mods are still not working then you have a problem with your game files or ini files. SIMJEDI
Do you have NMM set to run as Admin? I had this same problem when I set it that way, set it not to run as Admin and the problem went away.
Proboarder2712
I've set FO4, SKSE and NMM to run as admin. I've even set all my fallout files(ini, and game folder) to read/write.

allstop
I had the same problem. When I used nexus mod manager most of the mods only partially installed. I then installed the mods manually & it fixed it. All my mods work after manually installing them. Edited January 3, 2016 by allstop
Proboarder2712
I've set FO4, SKSE and NMM to run as admin. I've even set all my fallout files(ini, and game folder) to read/write.Make sure NMM is not set as admin. I've run it both with and without admin privileges. I also have the game and NMM installed on a separate drive from my windows installation drive(C:). Running it with or without admin privileges wouldn't matter as there is nothing critical in this hard drive that it would need admin privileges for save for R/W ability. Sniperae
Yeah, NMM doesn't even download any mods for me.
StoneDeadViking
Not sure what exactly the difference is, but after uninstalling any and all things fallout, deleting any files and folders connected to Fallout, and doing the same for NMM and then manually cleaning out the registry, having now reinstalled both again, for some reason mods are now working for me. Proboarder2712
So I just reinstalled my game after deleting it, and NMM and purging my registry from anything that said fallout 4 (don't do it unless last ditch effort as I had to re-download steam). I made the necessary changes but now NMM installs ESM/ESP files but doesn't install texture mods. The folders get created but the files themselves don't get inserted into the directories. Yes I've run as admin and I've set my texture folder to R/W. For clarification, I can install ESM/ESP mods with NMM but texture mods need to be installed manually. Pretty odd as it can write some files but not others. And again the game and NMM is installed on a separate drive than windows Edited January 9, 2016 by Proboarder2712
Tassadro
I'm having a problem with the mod loading into NMM and it activates the mod but when I go to the files added in the data folder the NIF files and DDS files are missing and the game crashes when i try to look at the new material in the building menu. what is going wrong and how can I fix it?
