MrFunreal
Hey there. So today i decided to install another esp mod, called "better settlers".I did the usual procedure: place esp in data folder, run launcher, check DLClist.txt, play game. But suddently every single esp mod i have stopped working. They all worked fine before i installed that mod. Uninstalling this mod doesn't help, NMM doesn't help because i don't have a plugins.txt. It doesn't even allow me to make one or rename my DLClist.txt to plugins.txt. I read the "Fallout 4 mod installation" page on the wiki and changed my ini files according to what the page told me, but is still refused to work.I even renamed the fallout4.exe to fallout4launcher.exe, while renaming the original launcher to something else, just to get around using the launcher at all. That doesn't work either.Fallout 4 script extendor? Nope. Won't work. Does anyone have any other idea?I literally tried everything i could think of, but Fallout still blatantly refuses to let me use any esp plugin. Melviclilith
From what I've seen, a recent update to the game locked out the .esp functionality. I had it set up to bring up the data manager in the games launcher, but after the most recent update that's been locked away again. The .ini changes I set up are still there, but no longer work. I guess they got tired of letting people mod the game. Still can't see my damn lockpick attempts though.... Melviclilith
No it doesn't, my files already look like what you posted and my .esp files don't work. Honestly I'm not even sure how relevant your post is to this. I don't use NMM for FO4 yet. What I used was the built in data manager that was hidden by default when the game launched. With a few extras added to the .ini file you could expose the data manager, but now after the latest update, the data manager has been stripped clean from the game. KingsnakeGTSR
It appears that Bethesda decided to lock out modding for now. They likely want people to wait until they release their mod creation kit.
