Gazz43 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Half way through Friday my Luncher stopped working and came up with the message (Skyrim Luncher has stopped working). I took all mods out put them in a new folder so i know were they was tried lunching Skyrim still same message. So i uninstalled and reinstalled the game to find i still got the same message was trying this most of Saturday. Then i went onto steam clicked support went to Skyrims main site done what they had in there help forms that helped got my game running. I copped the info and added it here in case anyone else having or had same trouble do what it says below it may or may not work for everyone :thumbsup: If you are having trouble running The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on a Windows 10 machine, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:Set Steam CompatibilityRight click on the Steam Icon, choose Properties, and if it is on, turn Compatibility off. Close out Steam entirely. Open Steam again it and attempt to load the game.Run the Game in Windows Compatibility ModeRight-click on the Skyrim Launcher application Usually found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Select Troubleshoot Compatibility. Choose the Troubleshoot Compatibility option. Check the box that says The Program requires additional permissions. Select Yes for the next window and then Test the Program.
