Flickering Shadows On Grass

I got my crashing issue and weird texture issues mostly sorted out from a few days ago, but now I'm noticing flickering shadows on grass which is highly distracting.

 

I've tried using Wasteland Flora Overhaul Dead Version, Fertile Version, and vanilla. I've attempted to reset my .ini files to their defaults, etc. So far nothing seems to work.

This is probably a long shot since this is from 2 years ago but, im having the same exact problem. Did you ever find a fix?

Please note the date of the previous post, and see the Nexus "Terms of Service" about not resurrecting old threads.

In all three INI files, try setting "bShadowsOnGrass=0" under "[Display]" section. If that doesn't resolve it, please start your own thread and provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article.

 

If that does resolve your problem, reporting a solution is about the only reason that warrants resurrecting an old thread.

Ah sorry didnt know about all of that. Unfortunately what you suggested did not work tho. Fortunately i found a fix!

Im not quite sure which option fixed it exactly, but what i did was;

1. Set Ambient Occlusion to Quality in the Nvidia control panel

2. Set Negative LOD Bias to; Clamp in the Nvidia control panel

3. Disabled Anti Aliasing

Between doing those 3 things my problem has completely vanished! hope this info can help someone else!
