wfiebewf
I am surprised no one has yet rigged a way to to do a live feed of a live FO4 radio station into the game.... Maybe when the Steam Workshop finally opens...
Boombro
You mean a live RL radio in fo4?
wfiebewf
Ya. Why not do a hook to a live feed. Heck, even a radio show a few hours long rotated every day would be cool. The only problem I can see is making the ads immersive. I don't know if it could be made into a money maker, but it could be a blast to do. netramz
Well I guess at that point you're doing away with realism completely and you're just integrating an on/off switch into the fallout interface. You could, granted with a tiny bit more effort, tab out and connect to an online radio yourself and it would essentially serve the same purpose. zaty1
Well, in theory - depending on what you use to stream.. it could sort of already be done. A few years ago I used to stream/save stuff - free music broadcasts online/etc. The program would just stream/download it to a single file - and I would play from that. So you'd start your program/stream in the background - nosound/don't play - and just have it redirected to the location for the radio station... and you'd fire up the radio station ingame and it would just start from there... in theory anyways. Might throw some errors about file being in use or something else - not sure.
