Poster as an activator

i seem to be having a hard time making this work, it is not the scripts or anything as they work fine as have tried the, with a plant as an activator but for some reason i can not use a poster with the exact same settings for an activator, this is getting kind of frustrating :wallbash: so if anyone knows a way to do this please let me know, thanks

I've made activators using statics objects. The poster is a static, right?

 

1. create a new activator. Leave the model field blank.

2. look at the static and make a note of the path and file name of the NIF file.

3. open up your mod with FNVEdit. Go to your new activator

4. Over on the right, where is says 'model', right-click, then 'add'

5. Right-click on the model field and edit. Put the same path and file name as the static object was.

It is possible that the poster nif file does not have a collision object inside. Please see this thread where I learned about this. Unfortunately the modder who helped me has since deleted the example from the ftp archive. Still, if you download my Decisions With Regrets mod you can copy the nif and texture, then modify as you like. The filenames are meshes/decwithreg/helpwanted.nif, textures/decwithreg/helpwanted.dds and textures/decwithreg/helpframe.dds.
