mileafly
I wonder what you have to keep in mind when mixing textures and meshes from different mods? Should everything be alright so long as you make sure that if you overwrite a texture from another mod you overwrite both the texture and the mesh, or could it be other files that you also need? What about parallaxing textures? (never understood how those work)I am using a mod mangager to install my mods.
beldaran1224
To be honest, I've played around with a bunch of texture replacers and never really thought about meshes. The only exception to this is when dealing with body mods, of course. The only thing I think about when mixing texture packs is how well they match up in game. They may look fantastic apart, but not look good together at all. I may be completely off base here, but parallaxing is an inherent trait of a texture (or an added effect from graphic mods like OR or ENB) and again, shouldn't need any additional work. It creates the illusion of dimension to textures. A side note: don't use OBMM for texture replacers. It doesn't keep track of them as well as Wrye Bash. For example. Say you install a replacer pack that does all of the games armor and then install one that recolors Elven armor over top of that. You then decide you don't like the Elven stuff and uninstall it. Using Wrye Bash, your general replacer files would automatically be reinstalled. With OBMM, those textures would revert to the stock Oblivion textures.
