cyronarxes
:( I have heard from some of my friends that there is a patch by bethesda that constricts pc modding and this patch is also on shivering isles. This is why I have not downloaded the expansion pack. Is this true and if so what does it constrict on mods and what do I do to avoid downloading it. SickleYield
If you don't want it, just don't download it. You can't get SI without the patch. I'm playing with the beta patch and SI and the Wrye Bash fix on my system right now. I have one or two bugs (currently I can't see the Data Files screen and have to activate mods via obmm only), but mostly I'm doing all right. I have close to 100 mods including the Big Three (FCOM). Povuholo
It doesn't restrict using mods themselves, only the creation of mods a little. If you aren't planning on making any mods, you'll be fine with 1.2. If you do want to mod: The .lip file generation feature is broken. But you only have to worry about that if you plan on making a mod with voice acted dialogue. The other bugs aren't that bad from what I've heard, whatever they are.
