Geck Crashing upon editing weapons V2.0

curious so that is why the geck is now screwing up again, it is trying to load fallout 3 bsa. how the hell did that happen? mind you i was having issues even before i installed ttw. but yeah i will check on ttw to see if they have a fix. how did you come to this solution might i ask?

because i loaded my TTW hard drive and tested it, I pulled the records from the editor warning .txt file as it failed, it flat tells me this.

 

for me it's not an issue cuz I no longer develop mods for TTW.

 

Just say I am accustomed to many things...but I always need to see things in person to understand it.

 

remember, you did not post any info about what must be true...the information you packaged up was very useful to me.

 

2 minutes time to load and run the games stats and GECK on that drive and I had my answer...had I known beforehand?

 

none of these posts would be here. you know why now too.

 

your not running anything even remotely default or Vanilla, your not even running fallout new Vegas.

 

TTW is a complete recompilation of two games..completely foreign to this environment and the gecks coding, you have to have outside programs to even edit files in TTW.

 

it's not supported here, no way, no how...at least not by me for sure.

 

you have a vanilla or modded normal game, a single game, I can help you...but not things taken way out to extreames.

 

foolhardy to even try if I am not aware of it to begin with.

well if its ttw i can live with that in any case fnvedit can do most of what i need and geck works fine except for you know editing weapons which most of the time is me changing ammo types for guns that didnt have the correct ammo or tweaking damage all things fnv edit can do

Talk to Jack's, the author of the compiler scripts OR make a plugin that points to the place for the weapons resorces and Over ride the problems...master the plugin and make a force text file so your specs are force loaded in the geck.

 

something.NAM..then you can edit anything you want.

no matter what, your plugin / *.esm will always load..period.
