My character is invisible!

I consider this to be very random since It wasn't sudden. It happened slowly, usually when I would go into sneak mode (bit of a problem since that's one of my major tactics). I wouldn't be able to see myself. Toggling R a few times, however, usually fixed it. Not anymore. I can restart the game, no go. I tried disabling all of my mods and data files but that didn't work either. I thought it was since I was using mod for my armor but even after switching to a normal set of glass armor I still wasn't able to see my character.

 

Anyone have any idea why this might happen? Is there a console command that can change a character's visibility or alpha? I've searched the web but so far no luck.

 

Any help would be appreciated since I'd really hate to have to reinstall Oblivion. I'm worried one of my save games might be messed up and since I'm pretty much at the end of the game that would really bug me...

Try in (console ~) "showracemenu" without the quotes.

 

Change your race to see if your character will show up with different race.
