Mouse controls

I've been wanting to play, but having major issues with how, well, basically my mouse moves in a way in FNV that is the opposite of smooth, overall it seems the mouse cursor just drags it's feet, if I adjust sensitivity up then it goes way too fast.

The confusing thing is, is I have disabled mouse acceleration to the best of my knowledge, anyone got any ideas?

 

EDIT: Though if this helps, my mouse is two years old and wearing out, and I did get a replacement, so maybe I'll pipe up if I still have problems after I get the replacement

Okay, new mouse, mouse controls are still not smooth at all, they're either too fast ingame, or too slow in menu

I added under controls in Fallout_default in the fallout new vegas folder

fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0

fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0

fForegroundMouseBase=0

fForegroundMouseMult=0

I also set

 

iPresentInterval to 0

But no dice, controls still seem, well, bad in NV, don't have the problem in any other game
