Ravnshadow
Hello peoples, sorry if this is the wrong place or something for this... I'm new to the forum and I'm really really lost because it is massive... anyway, my problem... I've been trying to create a custom armour for Fallout: New Vegas by cobbling together pre-existing models from the game. All was going quite swell until I ended up trying to export it. I've been following the tutorial on the Nexus Forums for creating an armour in Fallout:http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout_Part_1http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout_Part_2 So, when I try to export it, I get an error message stating the mesh contains unweighted vertices and It selects the offending vertices for ease of recognition. However, from what I can see they are indeed weighted and re-weighting them doesn't fix the problem. I spent a couple of hours jiggling around with different things trying to get it to stick, but no such hope. I googled this, but didn't come up with anything useful. So, help, please... I'm kinda desperate to get my project finished... any help would be nice... Thanks in advance.
Ravnshadow
Nevermind, I seem to have found a solution. Apparently there were several vertex groups assigned to bones that were not apart of the actual skeleton, hence Blender read them as unweighted despite the fact they were. Reassigning them to the correct bones seems to have fixed the issue, or at least enough to let me export it.
