I think it's a good idea, and since i have no modding skills/experience, i thought i'd let this idea outside. And if you didn't get my meaning, i mean that the player is allowed a quill (maybe ink that you have to purchase when you run out of it) and empty books or empty pieces of paper where you can write what you wish. :ph34r: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Abramul Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 It is a good idea, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible with Oblivion's engine. HOWEVER: There was a console command in Morrowind that allowed comments to be written to an external file, and the same command is available in Oblivion. You might be able to set an external program to copy the text of that file to a book created by a mod, but I don't believe mod contents can be updated without reloading the game.
