Game crashes PC, which mod is the cause?

I`m plagued with crashes in Oblivion. Sooner then later, when I exit/enter a door, the machine will do a sudden reboot without alert. This usually happens like 30-45 minutes into the gameplay, or rather quite randomly to me it seems. It`s been aeons since I last played Oblivion, and then I did not have this problem, so I suspect it`s one of the dozens of mod I`ve installed. The problem though is that I do not know which one. Since the error randomly occurs, it would take ages testing each mod for being the culprit. Is there any way to find out what is causing the problem? Maybe there is dumped error-list somewhere? Or maybe I could upload the list of all my mods (is there any program to export it into a .txt file or something, doing it manually would be quite the hassle), and someone might see if there is one usual culprit present. Basically, help?

First, how much RAM do you have? Second, what patch are you using? Third, how many mods do you have running?

I also use Quarls Texture pack and the odd texture replacement here and there; but I don`t suspect they do anything bad (since they only replace textures).

I have this same problem, i noticed i only re-booted when oblivion skips the loading screen when entering an area, when you have just recently been to an area and you return it skips the loading screen, sometimes causing a reboot. I checked your plug-in list and i dont have any of those mods, and i have 2 gigs of ram (awesome), and latest patch.

Sounds like your systems is overheating, running oblivion puts a lot of stress on a system. Check the gpu and cpu temperatures. Is your cpu/gpu overclocked? Try taking off the PC cover and playing oblivion like that for a while, if no crash, then you need better cooling in the PC case.

I made sure I had adequate cooling, im not overclocking. I have pc wizard and a screen on my tower that tells me the internal temp and both tell me the temperature never goes above average. I am running oblivion at max settings nut my computer is new and it can handle anything on the market easily.

(geforce 7950 512mb, 2 gigs of ram)

I also have a bunch of fans and i play in a cool room.
