Help needed to get certain mods to work together

Hello,

 

I've been trying for a few hours now to get certain mods to work together and failing pretty harshly.

This is what I have installed...

Oblivion(latest patch, does not have Shivering Isles expansion)

Nec-Mystic Dark Elf

Soya 4 Hair - English

Rens Beauty Pak Full

Exnems female eyecandy nude

BlackLuster pak

 

Now, my problems are as follows...

 

Soyas hair will not work with custom races, mainly mystic elfs(Necs and original). They do not appear as an option during character creation, only Rens hair(19*3) and the original are allowed when creating a mystic elf character. Soyas hair appear as a choice when creating a non-custom race character, as does Rens hair.

 

Next, Exnems textures and/or meshes do not seem to work properly when a custom race is used, mainly Necs elf and the original mystic elf.

 

 

If there is a thread already made covering these 2 problems, please link them.

To get exnems textures (nude) to work for rens feamale bodies you need to rename copy of the texture for (eg: imperaial feamale) footfemale.dds and footfemale_n.dds to:

 

renfootfemale.dds

renfootfemale_n.dds

 

Then place those in *\Data\Textures\characters\Ren\Ren_MysticElf\Female folder and overwrite the originals. (make sure on the paths ren has 2 different types of feamale, so copy those 2 files to both.

 

Ps. back up everything you are overwriting, just in case.

With hair(edit: I think this is wrong though) copy the new hair meshes and textures to folders that ren uses for hair, that should make them show up in char creation when making mystic elf. (not sure on that, but sounds logical to me)

edit * Data\Meshes\characters\Ren\Hair - meshes (.nif) go here

* Data\Textures\characters\Ren\Hair - textures (.dds) go there

 

edit: ps. if that does not work then you will have to open the hair xxxx.nif file in nifscope and make path to where the coresponding textures. xxxx.dds files are. sorry can't help you much with that, maybe someone else will.
