MrSitar420
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I'm pretty new to posting in here...I'm having micro-stutters that generally occur within the metropolis and building/texture dense areas of the city. It'll only go from 60FPS to maybe 50FPS at the lowest, however the initial drop is just enough to catch my attention. Now I get 15-20FPS drops during cell buffering areas though it's seldom. I got a Titan X so I was under the impression that performance wasn't an issue. I have 83 mods currently active and I do not use the Texture Optimization Project files (I got more stuttering when I had that installed). Am I missing something? My ENB is set up properly and I can attest to my volume of "2K-4K" textures, but when monitoring GPU performance I never climb above 3200Mbs of VRAM usage. I've looked online for tips and tricks, but I'm beginning to think that it's just the nature of recently released games and having to patch up the bugs....? EDIT: Over by the castle my VRAM usage hit 4500Mbs. Edited December 26, 2015 by MrSitar420
snowstorm76
yeah everyone is getting similar issues with fallout 4 on different systems. try fxaa instead of taa (get bilago's fallout 4 config tool) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102/? This is a must! i had to do thistry the "texture" settings inside your titanX and game settings for fallout 4 can be set from there. i'm running a gt650 at ultra everything apart from medium shadows no motion blur and lensflare. getting good frames most of the time but sometimes it frame drops hard the only fix is to reload the game it doesn't seem to be affected by location for me as it happens wherever i am even in the middle of nowhere. seems though after one or two hours of play i to have "reload" the game due heavy frame drops which cures the problem for 1-2 hours....repeat This what i do to clear the framerate drop. Hope this helps.
