Salver
Ok, so, I was zealously clicking undo in the hopes that I could recover the Chorrol Fighters Guild (I forgot to duplicate the Cell and started deleting stuff because I am stupid).Whilst clicking undo I accidentally clicked save, now there is no longer a Fighters guild in Chorrol with this .esp...Meaning I have just ruined all my work on my Mod...Although I did manage to keep everything related to quests in the guild I think. A box kept popping up asking about deleting a reference if I remember correctly and I said No to them all. Thus I have been left with various floating NPC's and shelves and some other stuff. Anyone have any idea how I could bring it back? E.g. merge the plug-in with another where the Fighter's Guild does exist? Please help >.<
Abramul
Won't help you get back changes you wanted to keep, but you can remove alterations from a mod, as described here.
crazydave
Also from now on you should get in the habit of useing ctrl+Z to undo things instead, Its alot quicker, and alot safer.
Hsandman_1
BL. To undo the damage... what they said ^. For future reference: Make new folder in /data folder \Oblivion\Data\backup and make 2 files there AutoSaveDEFAULT.bakDEFAULT.bak in cs options select outosave every 5 mins. AutoSaveDEFAULT.bak will save every 5 mins and DEFAULT.bak will save every (30? mins) so you will have 2 files to fall back on in case something goes wrong. Just rename copy of one to your original.mod name when things go wrong. edit: ps. get a program called tes4geko, makes fixing things up much eazier than "cs details" option. I was using ctrl + z but out of desperation I started using the Edit - > Undo way.A fool's hope though. I'll try the way that's been suggested see if I can get all of the fighters guild stuff back, unfortunately I don't know exactly what I deleted except for some tables, chairs, food, other misc items and NPC's that weren't linked to quests. As a quick fix I just put the building back in with the main NPC's and quest related items etc that were there. Good tip on the auto saving there, cheers. Abramul
I've tested it, and deleting the ChorrolFightersGuild entry (of type CELL) appears to restore everything in the cell.
