KySoto
I was reading an article today about a guy who wanted to play a pacifist run, where he doesn't actually kill anyone. I was throwing around ideas about what could be done, one of them was syringer ammo. Possibly making an ammo that knocks out each creature type, like one specifically for humans(like some sort of narcotics), one for robots(the whole star wars restraining bolt?), ect. Another idea being instead of disabling then by knockout, (or including those) emulate the effects of the CHR perks where you befriend enemies but again, not a blanket works on everyone sorta deal, but you have to make it specific to the types.Would this be worth putting time into learning how to mod FO4? Would people be interested in something like this?
Genamine
There's no mod you can think of that nobody would be interested in, there will always be people who like it. As for modding it yourself, if you have modding experience, I see no reason not to try making non-lethals. If you have no modding experience, there's still no reason not to try, but restrain from uploading for a while, and play around with FO4Edit (and eventually the GECK when it comes out) until you got the hang of it. Modding is fun, but the more you want to get out of it, the more time-consuming it is, half because the amount of editing increases as you mod more, and half because you get more bugs/glitches as you mod more. As for non-lethals in specific, you could start by looking into the stun mechanic thats already in the game, shouldn't be a difficult thing to mod, even as a beginner.
