Immersive Interiors for Natural Environments

BOSS is Better Oblivion Sorting Software - it sets the load order of most mods into a known-to-cause-minimal-trouble order by adjusting file dates.

You also probably need Wrye Bash (which is a more complex install but really DOES help long-term) to allow you to merge the effects of certain mods to be sure you know what order they are being applied in.

When you download BOSS, be sure to update to the latest masterlist.txt - this is updated frequently and should ensure more recent mods are correctly sorted. once run, read the output file and look for errors and warnings, and where possible correct them.

I haven't added links because i'm squeezing this into my break at work and don't have time to hunt them down.

Okay, thank you. The load order is sorted now and All Natural seems to work correctly now (the weather thing), but the glare is still messed up. When looked at it works normally for half a second and then quickly turns into a dark thing with a white circle in the middle of it which looks rather ugly.

Is there a sunglare mod that could be installed on top of that? If yes, then all the problems are solved. :)

Edit: I've found a few of them. Will check them out soon and report back.

Yay! I'm so glad it is working for you now, archer9. Is you .ini working alright now too?

Auriana, it seems I have a lot of the mods included in that overhaul, and they don't amount to 50 or anywhere near 50 .esps, so I wonder what he has in there and if you really need or want all of it. If AWLS is in there, it would explain why a lot of windows wouldn't be crystal clear.

Yep, AWLS is in there.

Oh, and I was just guestimating on .esp's. Most of them are probably just texture packs. I was just giddy when I found an overhaul that included so many great mods that I didn't have to download individually. I was impressed by the list alone.

Hmm, I have most of those. Here is what I think is happening. AWLS has many options for window colors and textures. The compiler has probably set those to his own tastes, which may not be yours. It also overwrites many meshes to provide the curtains and shutters and such. What you can do is go to Dunbarrow Cove and check the broken windows there, because at least in my game it does not color those. If they are nice and clear, it is probably working as intended.

Alright! I'll check it out, ASAP. Thanks for the quick reply!

If it is indeed set to personal taste, would it be easy to download AWLS myself and readjust the textures?

As long as that mod is not merged with others, it should be alright. You will need to look at the load and install orders in the documentation, but I think you should be able to do it. I would recommend avoiding using curtains if you don't want them to turn up on any of the ships. There seem to be some cases in which the curtains may override your ship window choices. I ended up deciding the curtains might not be unreasonable due to all the glare at sea, but it did surprise me when they showed up because I had selected ship windows without curtains. If you prefer most windows to be clear, you may find you don't like AWLS. I love it for what it does to citylights, but it may not be for everyone.
