Various Issues

Problem number 1: I have never been able to make any of the eye mods work. I've tried Acids, MD Oblivion, Elaborate, etc. and not a single one ever gives me more eye options. The only race that has more than the 3 default is the mystic elf. How can I fix this? Another problem in the same ballpark is that all of a sudden the default eyes are all mucked up (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e277/poop2mch/ScreenShot208.jpg). I wouldn't mind that if only I had other eyes to choose from lol. Also, a lot of the time whether I'm creating a new character or editing an existing one, I can't change hair styles or eye colour. Any way to at least fix the eye bit?

 

Problem number 2: My screenshot ability has changed for the worse. Screen's become overwritten instead of creating a new one. For example- my ss #207 is one thing, I start the game up again and take more screen's and instead of creating ss #208, it creates 207 again and the original one is overwritten by the new. HELP!! Is there a max limit of screenshots allowed, or are my config settings corrupted or something? I just want to be able to keep all of my sn's....Is that too much to ask? :D

 

Problem number 3: About 90% of the time, when I quit to desktop, there's some sort of crash and I get the send error report thing. Is this in any way harmful to anything, and what might be causing this? The game also randomly crashes during play more often than it should; not fun.

Yea, i also have the: problem #2 and 3. I have created a extra folder for prob2 and regulary move my pics there. Prob 3 for me is due to changing the settings in the .ini file to use 2X more ram memory when loading the game, so i think that has to do with cashe not clearing on exit. *shrug* i can live with that, i don't think it does anything bad to the computer.

 

But... I would also want to know how to fix that :huh:

Thanks for the help Hsandman_1! I started doing the folder swap thing just before I posted that. I'm cutting and pasting the screens and that gets awfully tedious...Do you know of an easier and/or quicker way to do that?

You could probably set up a batch file that moves existing screenshots to a timestamped folder, and then starts the launcher.

 

Main reasons to use a time stamp for the folder name is that it's guaranteed to be unique, and will effectively provide automatic organization.

I got elaborate eyes for rens beauty pack full to semi work (no idea how), but now my Nords (default and bearded), dwarf, dremora, and argonian races are the only ones with the messy eyes. Everyone belonging to one of those races has the problem, even NPC's.

 

I also have Ainmhi (?), Tang-Mo, Skyrim Khajiit, and a Dremora race from Tamriel now too and I have no idea where they came from and they are all missing one texture or another. I think there is a mod somewhere that has all these packaged together, but I don't recall downloading it. -Gotta lay off the skooma I guess- I don't want these races, so I need to know what mod they're from so I can get rid of them.

 

The major problem is the wonky eyes (NPC Nord Female)

First person to help me fix this gets a reward! :D

Just a quick update one the Screenshot issue... Lhammond made new tutorial in the tutorial section on taking screenshots etc. I think i might get "fraps" for screenshot taking. Anyways I am so swamped with information that i have no time to read anything longer than 1 page :P.. so you will have to read and see if you can find answers there.
