Good trick is simple mnemmonic: Extend your right hand to your right = XExtend your left hand forward = YPlace Both down = Z Now dance.. dance! http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/style_emoticons/default/intergalactic.gif http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/style_emoticons/default/dmc.gif ;D Ps. there are lots of things that you will just have to discover from tutorials or on your own.
Povuholo Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 And you can see the XYZ coordinates of the object you placed in a cell by doubleclicking on it. At the left you see the position of the object, at the right the rotation. If you have to change all the Z values, you have to change the values of Z at the position.
PanzerOfGod Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 If it wasn't obvious, you should copy and paste the z position value from one "puzzle piece" in a room to all the other pieces of that room to put them at the same height. After that, I tend to move the pieces close by dragging them and then double clicking to bring up that placement window for the fine-tuning.
