Help changing the mesh of an armor

I want to change the body mesh of http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/15496/

 

and be replaced with the body mesh of this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/14359



I tried to follow this guide: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_armor_mashups_for_fallout

but I got stucked to step 3. I don't know what meatcaps he's talking about.

I'm gonna be honest that I don't know most of the functions of Blender, and I was hoping someone would do it for me.

I know it's just a simple conversion, but I've tried, and failed so many times, I don't know if I deleted something important in the mesh(the guide says to delete some things, but I don't know which ones are the safe ones to delete).
