loadofbs9
I can't find mass effect 2 or 3 for that matter as when I start Nexus it scans games on my pc and it only finds skyrim but for some reason mass effect 2 is nowhere to be found like there's only set games like skyrim, oblivion, morrowind, dragon age you get the idea, is there any way to add games to nexus? Thandal
The NMM does not support the Mass Effect series (or, in fact, most games.) Please follow the instructions provided by the authors to install any mods for Mass Effect.
rytram
when did modding get so complicated. i used to use NMM for every game (which wasnt much) and it worked fine in most cases. but now you have to have crap like ME3E, and TexMod. WTF. cant we just keep it simple.
Thandal
NMM was originally built, (AFTER the games themselves) specifically to support the most common types of mods for BethSoft games. At first, support for just a few other games based on completely different game engines, (e.g. Dragon Age) was added. And again, only the most common types of mods were supported. Since then, NMM has been revised to include support for a double handful of additional games. There was never any intention of making NMM capable of handling all mods for all games. As to why we "can't keep it simple", most games (e.g. the ME-series) were never intended to be modded at all. That some people found ways to do so is a testament to those players' inventiveness, persistence, and sheer love for the games! Let's be grateful for what they've made possible.
