Same freeze problem with Morrowind vanilla and MGSO

When I am playing morrowind, it seems like the whole screen just stops/freezes for 1-3 seconds.

EDIT-- Somehow it only happens when music changes.

I had reinstalled vanilla morrowind and this was happening, so I hoped that when i added MGSO and it tweaked things, it would fix it.

not sure if this is called lag or stuttering or freezing.

I really really would like any suggestions you might have no matter how remote.
