Request - Female EyeCandy - Mystic Elves Conversion?

Does anybody know where I can find this? I've looked all around and can't seem to find it anywhere.

Ok Yuuko, I'm assuming you're using the tattooed version otherwise the normal one would do it right? (had to say that just to get it out the way). See if this helps.

There isn't as yet an actual Ren's tattoos version of the mystic elf available but Hellknight recently added these http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=11176 textures for exnem's body which I think are better and come in a variety of flavours. Better yet they're high res so the tats won't look blurry anymore.

If you follow his instructions and i'm going from memory you take the FootFemale.dds file of your choice and copy it to Data> Textures> Characters> Rens> Ren_MysticElf_tt01> Female.

Next delete the existing RenFootFemale.dds (You should have, as always, made a backup copy in case..) and change the name of the file you just moved in, to RenFootFemale.dds

-Voila!

Or it should be.. some people just get a new psychadelic blue body. You might like it, who knows but i suspect you'll feel a little dissappointed and slightly dizzy like i did.

To solve this you have to re-save the .dds files as DXT1 files (even though that's what they already are it seems to fix it).

 

Ok, don't worry, its not as NASA as it sounds.

 

1: Find and download DXTBmp You can get it here. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Gr...rs/DXTBmp.shtml

 

2: Copy each tattoo folder to a new folder named Exnem Tattoos for example.

 

3: Open DXTBmp. Go to File, Open, then browse to the Exnem Tattoos folder. Double click. Choose a tattoo folder. Double click. Double click on the FootFemale.dds file. It should Open to view in the window.

 

4: Now go to File, Save and when the box pops up in the 'save as type' dropdown choose DDS DXT1.

Press Save and yes to any overwrites. (DXT5 or 3 are ok too, but try 1 first).

 

5: Repeat for all the tattoos you want to try.

 

6: Now you just follow Hellknight's readme instructions again using these re-saved .dds files.

EDIT: (June 4 th) Hellknight has re-saved all the files himself now and uploaded them so they should work Ok.
