Modder Hiring

Speaking as a modder, it doesn't seem likely you'll get much in the way of bites - people working in areas of most demand are generally neck deep in projects of their own and not looking to join a project of which someone else has creative control. Nobody's looking for a new boss without a salary attached. ;)

I would be inclined to agree. It would probably be more useful to have a place for people to post their job offers so that those who are looking for work only have to check one place, based on their skills. IE. Someone looking to hire a script writer would post in the script writer board and explain the details of what they need. While you could technically do that in any other forum, being able to seperate it by category, and having it seperated from all the usual modding chatter would increase the chances of anyone taking notice.

I agree - speaking as a person who uniformly skips right over any thread with "somebody make" or "looking for a" in the title. For someone actually looking for a project fitting their skills, having them together in one place would be very convenient - and seeing how much is available to do might inspire more people to learn how. (You never know.)
