Help with putting armor on a Skeleton NPC

Hi guys / gals, am not entirely a new modder, but am trying to figure out how to put Elven Armor onto a Skeleton NPC. I realize that Skeleton's cannot wear armor with the functions appropriated onto it. I'm not all to familiar with script, but is there a way I can use script or some modification that will force the program to put the Elven Armor on the Skeleton? I want to have the armor visible while also having the skeleton head visible.

Will be a huge help if anyone knows!

Okay. Would Poser Pro work?

This question may be too broad, but how would I go about using this software to accomplish my goal. Would I have to take the skeleton and armor files then combine them, or is it more sophisticated than that? Noob 3d modeler here .

I'm not familiar with Poser Pro... This is the tutorial I used when learning and it has been very valuable: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1

Of course you will need to adapt a few parts of the tutorial because you don't need to create armor but rather modify and attach it to a creature. It will show you what the process is for installation, how to get the files into Blender and how to add weights, attach the skeleton and then the export and NifSkope wizardry.

If you need help once you get everything installed let us know.

Okay cool, it puts on all the armor except for the cuirass. When I look at it through Creation Kit, it has the full set on, but once I'm in game everything appears except the cuirass. Any suggestions?

This is what it should look like in game- http://imgur.com/93VSkey

Okay, the armor is applying, but unfortunately the cuirass and death animation models don't apply with the skeleton, so it has everything attached but the cuirass and when it dies the armor pieces expand out with the skeleton parts which are now physically moving.

After doing a little more research it turns out I have to do the first option which is mend the armor and Skeleton pieces in blender / or figure out a way to change the Skeleton death animation so that it is the Human death animation.

I have been trying to get blender to work, but I am having a very hard time with converting the .nif to .obj or .3ds. I have been trying to figure it out for about 8 hours, so I'm a little brain-dead at this point. If anyone can help me out with this it would be very appreciated. Here are the current software I have (based on recommendations from the internet).

-Nifscope

-Auto Desk 3ds Max 2014 x64

-Fallout NV mod manager

-3dsMax 2013/2014 (64bit) Full Plugin [Via this website- http://www.loverslab...bit-full-plugin

-Blender (current version)

-Adobe Photoshop CC 2015
