Pink Pipboy world map and randomly missing textures?

Seemingly at random (and now at certain spots, like Camp Searchlight), my game starts freaking out and I get following issues:

 

1. Randomly missing textures. My guns and misc NPCs will be replaced by the giant exclamation point designating a missing texture, even though I have seen the exact same things not missing before and haven't changed anything since. When it happens with my guns sometimes quickly equipping/unequipping will eventually lead to it working like it should. Sometimes reloading multiple times fixes it.

 

2. I lose access to the escape menu or at the very least it about 10 seconds for it to open, I can't interact with people or objects but I can doors and sometimes going through into an interior seems to fix it. Around the same time as this my Pipboy map and map icons go pink; see the attached file.

 

As a side note I hard save a lot: I have about 72 hours into this character and about 100 separate hard saves; I've heard of issues with relying on quick saves and constantly overwriting the same hard saves, so I try to avoid that.

 

Has anyone encountered issues like this before and have any advice?

You have too many active plugins. It would be best to get your total plugin count below 140.

Ah, meshes. Sorry for the mix up there; odd texture bugs have happened as well with things suddenly having misc textures instead of what they previously had, but meshes have been the most noticeable. I'll try to cut down on the active count and see if it helps.

 

EDIT: Dropping the number of mods active seemed to resolve the issue. Thanks!
