HydranianKnight
Hello all, Im new to the community form, I dont know if anyone've posted the same topic before but I still want to ask: Is there a way to make UNP/CEEB body followers exist in the game in the same time without crashing/freeze the game? Myself is using CEEB body, which I have to watch out for CEEB followers when Im shopping around the mod. But there are some UNP based followers I also really want to get, so I mad mah move. And here comes the problem: for example, there are a few UNP followers which need me to enter certain buildings in certain cities to recruit, when I attempted to enter the building, my game either crashed or froze, just because I dont have UNP body installed. Am I able to get both body type followers in the same time in the game without getting game itself to conflict over body type (meshs and etc)? Like... First install UNP and then over with CEEB files on certain files or something? Really wanting to know if any of yall out there knows a way. Great thx.

Codifer
If the follower is "stand alone", the body type should not matter. Most likely, you are overwhelming your computer's ability to render the textures. This is especially if the location is crowded which is so often the case with the inns in Riverwood, Whiterun and Solitude as well as the temple in Whiterun. Try disabling a few followers which are found in those locations. Cheers

HydranianKnight
And now I disbanded most of my Mod Followers, only kept the ones I recruited from the original vanilla gameplay. And now I tried to start from 0 again, and even CEEB follower building crash me outta game, not sure wdf is going on here.. :ninja:

So I disabled and uninstalled the mod, and ever since then my game continue crashing when I tried to go into Hall of Dead even without the mod... Lemme guess... the game file of that place has been damaged or something? e_e P.s. I have that one habit which if I disable/uninstall a mod that causes crashs aka follower's building, I always go back to the building after uninstallation to check if the game still runs fine. dpgillam
1st) deleting mods during a game is a bad idea. There are several recommendations for safely doing this, however; just google "safely deleting mods in Skyrim". I would recommend Al Ciao's elswyr rift for your "safe spot", simply for the convenience. 2nd) If the NPC is "stand alone" then it doesnt matter what body model you are using, it will use the one packed by the author. If it isnt "stand alone" then it uses what you use. Most follower and companion mods over the last 2years have switched to stand-alone. 3rd) As I understand it, you can use Bodyslide, and it will convert everything to your set slide preferences. I wont swear to that; Im not as computer savvy as I'd like to be. But I use a mix of body type followers and armors, and it all seems to convert well. 4th) you could be overtaxing your computer's resources. I play on a 5 year old laptop, and find I have to skip most followers and goodies because of limited resources. 5th) If you are using the same save as the one where you tried to enter the cell with the follower, then yes, it will keep bugging out. you need to go to a prior save and start from there. Hope some of this helps.

So can I understand this as: no matter which body type Im using (UNP/CEEB/etc), follower won't get effected by my primary body mod (afa CEEB) at this point, and as long as they have some body slide edit in the follower pack I should have no problems getting the follower (aka crash out when enter certain buildings, crash out after recruited the follower, crash out when taking follower into different build) ja? Anyways, was messing around with mods lately, that true no matter how good your pc (laptop in my case) is, it's always good to use less mods and etc? Or are there a limited to how many mods i could download on different laptop brands? (sounds newb but hell, just wanna be sure). I always delete mods i dont want or causing conflicts with other mods after I quit the game, just if case you guys got the wrong idea (aka Im uninstalling mods during the game), i would never do that xD... Reply to your 3rd point: So if Im right, i will have to go download some sort of body slider if the current follower/clothing/armor are another body type based? Since I know most of them have multiple versions of bodies to choose in manual download, but some of them only have UNP and etc, which I want them greatly but sadly Im CEEB, any recommanded body slider i could use and mods like that so i could wear whichever armor /lead whichever follower i want? Thank buddy
