Best film ever seen at the cinema

This is yet another of the thread rip-offs by me, loveme4whoiam. This is sourced directly from the "Worst film..." thread here. I expect quite a few films to appear here that also are in the Worst thread... *cough LOTR cough Faust is a heretic cough* :D (No offense meant Faust. Its just that i love that film. Its a clash of opinions. B) )

 

You can put movies on here in order if you like, or just random ones you think of off the top of your head. I do ask tho that you put at least one reason for each film you post, that way we avoid mindless stuff.

 

To quote the Holy Acoran ( :lol: ) "Don't let this turn into a flame war." Lets have good, wholesome family fun here people.

 

To start us of, i'll put my top five on here.

 

1. Star Wars, the original trilogy (Lightsabres B) )

2. Lord of the Rings :nazgul: , all three [ROTK will kick royal backside] (They're based on one of the best books of all time, and more details than i can go into here.)

3. The Matrix [original, not sequels] (Bullet Time)

4. Gladiator (Russell Crowe and Sir Richard Harris at their very very best)

5. We Were Soldiers (slight US Army propaganda, but best represtentation of war since Saving Private Ryan [number 6 on the list])

 

There. Now, let the fury commence.

I think this is too similar to merit another thread loveme4whomI am. No offence to you but I'm going to lock the thread. Have to remember that in the US they call them movies and spell favourite differently when using the search button.
