obobski
+1 to "ran mods with less" - depending on what the mod does it may even improve performance (e.g. if it removes clutter, fixes bugs, etc), or it may not have a significant/any impact on performance (e.g. stuff that changes dialog text, re-levels items, etc), or it may have a variable impact on performance (e.g. adds stuff, like more NPCs, more clutter, higher res textures, etc); the really crazy "this made the system requirements 10x higher" kind of stuff usually comes out of the really big visual-improving mods (e.g. stuff that tries to dramatically change the look/feel of the game's graphics), which is only a subset of all mods. Your machine can certainly run the game, so I'd say welcome to modding and see where it takes you - eventually you will probably hit upon something that causes slowdowns, and that's just part of the territory (as has been said previously). For mod management, I would use either NMM or FOMM, and LOOT to check load order (because its easy and fast).
