Does anyone know this user? They had a post called the Ultimate Fallout 4 Mod Compilation but for some reason, compilations aren't allowed on the Nexus forums (which makes no sense at all).

If you have their contact info, could you please PM me with it?

Thank you!

Well for one, I don't accept any kind of donation, not even if you wanted to. I don't even have it set up, I clearly state every single author and give full credit. It's purely free mod promotion and help for other people that want a quick and easy way to have a modded game. What seems to be the problem?

Two, its more of a tutorial than anything, yes there are a lot of mods, but its not just a list. It's an installation tutorial.

I have also had many of the mod authors thank me, I haven't had a single author on that list give me any negativity at all. The way I actually learned how to mod is this little ENB list I found for Skyrim a couple years ago, it basically was a post like this, but it wasn't nearly as detailed.

This is not the kind of compilation we outlaw. Those are when someone piles a bunch of other people's mods into a single massive download to be installed all at once. Doing that means not allowing the actual author any credit, and usually without their permission.

What you have done is very like STEP for Skyrim. Doing it as a list of mods to be downloaded individually and installed by the user, and allowing them to opt out of any mod they don't want is fine. This way it allows the mod authors to each get proper credit as the mod is downloaded under their name.
