Amzari
Just wondering if shop items (like the bows and swords on the counters and shelves in weapon shops) respawn after awhile? Or can a busy thief go through and make the entire game feel alot more empty? How about ore deposits in mines? Pearls in clams? Thanks in advance. Malchik
Afaik none of these items respawns. Most merchants have their own inventory (in a chest not accessible to the player) and also some or all of what is stocked on the shelves. When the shelf items are bought or stolen they disappear from the merchant's inventory and normally do not reappear. However there are exceptions for some ingredients for instance. The fact that an item is on a shelf does not mean the merchant necessarily has it in inventory. In such a case the ONLY way to get it is by stealing it. It then disappears from the shop for good. The owner of the jewellery store in the Imperial City was not linked to his goods chest by mistake. To get his very special enchanted ring you need to get a mod that links it. Was afraid of that, thanks.
