sacredferro
Not quite sure why it happens, but anytime I have pretty much any mod besides the official DLC's selected, Vegas crashes as soon as I select whether I want to use Hardcore mode or not (just before leaving Doc Mitchell's house at the very beginning).FalloutNV.esmTribalPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmClassicPack.esmCaravanPack.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmNVWillow.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espGameSettings.espDragonskinTacticalOutfit.espDragonskinNCRPersonnelWearingOutfits.espDragonskinBonusPack.espCourier's Crib.espPlugin1Mine.espJIP Companions Command & Control.espPickCompanionArmorandWeapons.esp I am using latest NVSE and FNV4Gb and running FNV Ultimate Edition through Steam. I'm also using NMM to run Vegas. I've already tried changing the load order and enabling one mod at a time, but nothing seems to work past the prompt if anything below the official esm's are toggled on. One thing to note is that I can get past the prompt and exit the house and proceed to playing FNV fine with all non-official esm's disabled, and can even safely re-enable them once I'm outside, but I'd rather be able to keep them turned on from a fresh new game since I know some mods work best when you start a new game with them and some even fail to work properly otherwise. Game seems fine otherwise, it's just rather annoying having to remember to uncheck all of my mods before starting a new character. Any help/ideas/criticism would be nice. Purr4me
Fallout4.esm is fake, I used it to contain a place holder so ignore it.
sacredferro
Weird, that's how the esm's were set up initially. Those are the only ones I never touch. I'll try it and see if that helps. Edit: Bingo. Didn't fully fix the issue, but it did just as good. I've been able to get all but one mod to work without causing the crash: Game Settings Tuner. Should have figured something that touches that much behind the scenes could be the root cause. I'll try reintalling it to see if that helps, or I'll just dump that mod for something else if no change. Thanks again for the help. Yeah, that's what deciding not to sleep when I should will do to me...meant to say "esp's" and not "esm's". I will sleep at some point, I promise. Purr4me
Understood..just remember, others here would also look at it as I did, cuz there is no such thing as unofficial DLC's and that's all I see there as esm's. The shot I provided shows the correct tool to use for the game. suggested to use that instead.
