However, when you do, your only options are to send them to one of your settlements. There is no option to return them to their point of origin. I'd like that to be a option. For example: "Go Home" - Nick returns to detective agency, Piper goes back to her house, Curie goes and hangs out at the doctor's office in Vault81, Dance could go back to either the blimp or the airport, etc. Because to be honest, companions make crappy settlers. volksjager88 Posted January 10, 2016 Share Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) the cancel only works if you have never sent them anywhere.once you send them to a settlement they can never go home.my Curie & Preston work and are not too annoying.my Cait & Piper just roam aimlessly and yammer - although some of Caits comments are not too bad...i was able to use the cancel to send Nick, Hancock, Macready and Dance home and ive never bothered with Deaconthis has bad a major complaint since the game came out and i cant believe they have not addressed it yet. if they really do bother you you can always just send them to a settlement you dont use.Covenant is good for this as it is small so they are easy to find, should you want to use one of them.
