Mods that cutback gameplay "no spoilers allowed" "go ahead, if you really must..."

Please give me some mods that would give a major cut back in gameplay time without spoiling the original storyline and skewing the item or npc level type progression. I don't want to slaughter every or every wrong bystander early in the game.
